I am too late to say "Happy First Day of February to you." I was very busy yesterday! But I could say belated "Imbolc Blessings" to you or a late "Happy St Brigid's Day". Today is Candlemass, the purification of the Virgin Mary. Pagan or Christian, there is a need, it seems, at half way between the solstice and the equinox to celebrate a goddess or a woman of God (with fire!).
